Where the Matcha is Grown
Nestled in the heart of a mountainous, sub-tropical landscape, Botanik Matcha is sourced from a carefully selected farm in Kagoshima, Japan. The land provides optimal growing conditions of high elevation, dense coastal fog, mild seasons, and mineral-rich volcanic soils.
The pesticide-free farm practices the ancient Chagusaba Method; having the utmost respect for keeping the plants, ecosystem and tea drinkers free of toxins. The flavor profile is impressively smooth, with a cultivar blend made for low grassy notes. Excellent in lattes or on its own!

The majority of the antioxidant contents are called catechin polyphenols, and the most abundant polyphenol is epigallocatechin gallate or EGCG.
